Demolition Equipment Rental Checklist for UAE Contractors

The machine sequence that actually clears a demolition site — from initial breaking to final haulage.

Step 1 — primary breaking

Structural take-down starts with either a long-reach excavator for high-rise work or a PC400 with hydraulic breaker for lower structures. Matching reach and breaker size to the building height is the first sizing decision.

Step 2 — secondary processing

A crusher/pulverizer attachment reduces primary debris and separates rebar on site, turning raw demolition waste into material that can be sorted and reused rather than trucked whole to landfill.

Step 3 — sorting and loading

A rotating grapple sorts mixed concrete, steel and timber into separate stockpiles, which materially improves tipping-fee rates and recycling compliance versus mixed loads.

Step 4 — haulage

Dump truck fleet size should be set against loader cycle time, not guessed — see our fleet planning guide for the sizing rule of thumb we use on every demolition project.

Booking the full sequence

Most UAE demolition contractors book this equipment sequence as a single package rather than piecing it together machine by machine — we quote the whole sequence together so mobilisation is coordinated.
